OF SCIENCE IN AGRIBUSINESS MANAGEMENT
Philosophy of Curriculum:
The aim of the Agribusiness Management programme is to produce
graduates who are academically skilled, professionally competent
and innovative. The curriculum is designed in a way that will
enable students upon the completion of the programme to:
a.
be able to apply knowledge acquired and to use their experiences
in Agribusiness to make a
b. demonstrate individual development in Agribusiness;
c. acquire relevant skills in production of animals and crops,
farm management, marketing of quality Agricultural products.
The
components of the Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness Management
include Agriculture, Management and Business Administration
courses. Students of Agribusiness Management Studies will work
on the University Farms for at least four months during their
third year. Constant field visits during the holidays form an
integral part of the Agribusiness Management programme. The
student requires a total of 140 credit hours for graduation.

OF SCIENCE IN BANKING AND FINANCE
Philosophy of Curriculum:
The programme of Banking and Finance offers a four-year study
leading to the Bachelor of Science degree in Banking and Finance.
The curriculum adopts a multi-disciplinary approach to management
education. It provides flexibility to meet the needs of students
who wish to specialise in Banking and Finance. The programme
also offers students pursuing the Bachelor of Science degree
the opportunity to meet the requirements for the Institute of
Bankers' professional qualification. A total of 138 credit hours
is required for graduation.
