Fees remain the same for the Second semester
*All fresh students will pay an additional Gh¢300 (US$250.00 for international students) as admission fee.

*L200 and L300 Agribusiness/Environmental students who undertake field trip during the year will pay extra Gh¢75.00 and Gh¢75.00 respectively per semester.

Books, Travel and Out-of-Pocket Expenses

In addition to the above fees, it is estimated that an international student would need about $5,200.00 per annum for food, books, travel and out-of-pocket expenses.

Settlement of Accounts

Where possible, students should be prepared to pay full semester charges during or before registration. Payment may be submitted in advance to the Finance Office. This will facilitate registration. All continuing students are required to pay at least half of their fees on or before the day of registration. Students who are registering for the first semester are supposed to pay full fees at registration.

University Deferred-Payment Plan:

Any student desiring to participate in the university deferred-payment plan is required to pay 50% of the total charges down at registration and the balance of the semester charges in two equal payments before the commencement of the end-of-semester examinations. It is very important to note that when the student does not have the down payment, a commitment letter is required from those underwriting the student's account.

Refund Policy and Schedule:

No reduction of charges will be granted unless application is made within two weeks of any change in programme or departure of the students. Students who withdraw from the university after the fourth week of classes will receive no adjustment in tuition and fees.

Those whose study is interrupted by the University for disciplinary reasons will receive no adjustment on tuition and fees after the third week of classes. If a student withdraws during a semester and requests a refund of advanced payments, the following rules will determine the amount of adjustment, provided the student withdraws formally through the Admissions and Records Office. Tuition and fees, with the exception of Freshmen Documentation Fee and registration fees, will be adjusted on the following percentages:

Two (2) workdays following the first meeting of classes…..………Full refund.
Second week following the first meeting of classes……….….....…50% refund.
Fourth week following first meeting of classes…………....….……25% refund.
After the fourth week…………………………………..................…No refund.

Note:
A Refund Request Form must be collected from the Accounts Office and be completed for all cash refunds. A Deferment and/or Withdrawal Form may be obtained from the Admissions and Records Office. This must be duly completed and supported with relevant documents before the Refund Request could be considered.

No person who registers as a full-time student and is later permitted to drop enough courses to place him/her in the classification of a part-time weekend student will be entitled to an adjustment or prorated tuition after the fourth week. Accounts with the school must be settled in full before a certificate or a transcript of credits is issued. Accounts must be settled before final examinations are taken.
