CENTRAL UNIVERSITY COLLEGE - BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT CENTRE (BDC)
Central University College through its Business Development Centre (BDC) is offering excellent professional
training at its new ultra-modern facility located at the Mataheko Campus.
The following programmes are available during the day, evening and week-end:
1. CIB (Ghana) (Levels 1-3) December, 2011 examinations
2. ACCA (F1-F9) December, 2011 examinations
3. ICA Ghana (Level 1-3) December, 2011 examinations
4. CIM (U.K) (Levels 2-4) December, 2011 examinations
5. Mature Students' (over 25 years) examination for entry into Central
University College in September, 2011
6. CIMA (U.K) examinations for only MBA graduates
7. DBS examinations in Marketing, Accounting and Management for November/
December 2011 examinations.
Extra tuition will be available for students
who have problems with SHS Core Mathematics and English for all DBS
students. The DBS and Matured Students' programmes will also be run at
the Universit y's other training facility, Central Professional Institute (CPI)
located in the Loom at the Kwame Nkrumah Circle.
· For CIB, ACCA, ICA and CIM, lectures will be held over a period of not
more than 16 weeks.
Students who pass the appropriate level of CIB, ACCA, ICA and CIM can
convert to degree programmes in Central University and other Universities.
· For the DBS, lectures will be held up to the last week of the examination.
· For Matured Students, lectures and examination will cover 12 weeks.
Admission Forms (ACCA, CIM, CIB, ICA) cost only GH¢30 each and can be purchased with a non-refundable
Bankers Draft payable to the Central University College. Registration
has started. All lectures will begin on 27th June, 2011.
Registration for membership of the following professional bodies in the
United States of America is also on-going:
· Chartered Institute of Corporate Treasurers (CICT). This is open to graduates
and professional staff of the Revenue Agencies, Investment and Treasury
Bankers, Risk Managers etc. Check the website: www.cictus.org
Chartered Institute of Professional Financial Managers (CIPFM). This is
open to graduates and professional accountants, bankers, finance directors,
financial analysts etc. Check the website: www.cipfmglobal.org.
Other chartered programmes like the Chartered Media Professionals (CMP),
Chartered Business Consultants (CBC) etc will be unveiled very soon.
