REQUIREMENTS FOR THE STM SCHOOL OF GRADUATE STUDIES - 2007/8
ADMISSION OF CANDIDATES TO M.A./ M.Phil. RELIGIOUS STUDIES 2007/08 ACADEMIC YEAR
Applications are invited for admission into the Graduate Studies Department of the School of Theology and Missions, Central University College.
PROGRAMMES:
Master of Arts (M.A.) in Religious Studies
Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) in Religious Studies
AREAS OF EMPHASIS:
- Old Testament Studies
- New Testament Studies
- Practical Theology
- Pentecostal & Charismatic Studies
- Church Historical Studies/Missions
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
- A good first degree in Theology or Religious Studies. The minimum requirement is second class - lower division.
- Candidates with a first degree in areas of discipline other than Theology or Religious Studies will be required to complete a one-year preparatory course in Theology. Candidates with a first degree in areas of discipline other than Theology or Religious Studies but have a Diploma in Theology or Religious Studies with Biblical Languages are also eligible for consideration.
- Foreign Applicants: Foreign students who apply must hold equivalent qualifications as published above and must show proficiency in English Language.

Candidates seeking admission may purchase Application Forms which are on sale at the following office:
- FINANCE OFFICE, CENTRAL UNIVERSITY COLLEGE, MATAHEKO, ACCRA.
A set of application forms costs Four Hundred Thousand Cedis ( ¢450,000.00). Payment is by Bankers Draft ONLY. Application forms for foreign students cost $75.
The completed forms should be returned to the Admissions Office, Central University College, Box DS 2310, Dansoman, Accra not later than 30th June, 2007.
